John H. Hager, assistant secretary of the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS), U.S. Department of Education, is pleased to share with you the schedule of a series of public meetings to be held during the first few months of calendar year 2005 to seek input and suggestions for developing regulations based on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004.

The first public meeting will be held Friday, January 28, 2005, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. The address for this meeting is:

The second public meeting will be held Thursday, February 3, 2005, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The address for this meeting is:
