The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) invites nominations for the 2003 Migel Medal
May 2003The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) invites nominations from the field of blindness for the 2003 Migel Medal in both the professional and volunteer categories. The Migel Medal was established in 1937 by the late M.C. Migel, AFBs first board chairman, to honor professionals and volunteers whose dedication and achievements have significantly improved the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. Nominations must be postmarked no later than Monday, June 2, 2003, so don't delay. Visit AFB New & Noteworthy for further information.
