Call to Urge Your Representative to Vote to Override President Bush's Veto
of The State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) bill

Status

* September 25 - The House of Representatives passed the SCHIP bill by a vote of 265 to 159.

* September 27 - The Senate passed the SCHIP bill by a vote of 67 to 29.

* October 2 - President Bush vetoed the bill

* October 18 - The House of Representatives will vote override President Bush's veto. We need two thirds of present voting Members for an override.
