On February 1, HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt announced that plans would be extending the 30-day transitional drug coverage period, extending it from the 30-day period to an additional sixty (60) more days. That means that the plans are providing a full ninety (90) days of drug coverage (through March 31, 2006).
