Make Your Voice Heard!
Make Sure You Have the Proper ID on Election Day!
As Americans prepare to go to the polls, the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund
and the NAACP
are distributing palm cards in five
states: -Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, and Missouri
to educate citizens about new voting procedures. During the last
year, debate has ensued in each of these five states about the
proper identification documents voters need to vote.
The palm cards are meant to inform voters of the correct
documents they need to vote and what to do if they are
challenged by poll workers.
Please feel free to download, print, and distribute as many of
the palm cards as you like. For more information on what
documents you need to vote in Arizona, Florida, Georgia,
Indiana, Missouri and other states, please visit
Vote411.org. You can also call the Election Protection
hotline at 866-Our-Vote or 888-Ve-Y-Vota, a voter information
hotline run by NALEO and
NCLR.
