AAPD Attends Live "Tweetup" Discussion with Senior Administration Officials

January 25, 2012  |  AAPD Power Grid Blog Team

Following the 2012 State of the Union address, AAPD attended a live "Tweetup" panel discussion with Senior Administration officials. This conversation addressed questions asked by both the in-person audience and social media users. AAPD asked our followers to participate in the conversation by submitting questions to us and the White House via Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Over 50 disability community members actively engaged with us on social media both before and during the State of the Union events!

Our community’s presence was made known when the panel addressed an AAPD-submitted question regarding improving employment outcomes for people with disabilities. You can now see the Senior Administration panel address this question on the White House website.
