Jason Mida

Vice President of Development
As the Vice President for Development at AAPD, Jason Mida manages relationships with stakeholders and major donors, including with national corporate partners. Jason recently worked with AAPD staff and board to set a record fundraising number at the 2012 Annual Leadership Gala, raising close to $1.3 million for the event.
Prior to joining AAPD, Jason served as Vice President of Development at the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund, the largest LGBT political action committee in the United States. In his role, Jason oversaw a $5 million annual budget, managed development staff, and worked with Victory endorsed candidates at the local, state, and national level to raise awareness and funds for their campaigns. In his six plus years at Victory, Jason served in various roles before becoming Vice President of Development in 2008, including Director of the Victory Cabinet as well as Director of Leadership Gifts and Strategic Partnerships.
Jason and his husband reside on Capitol Hill and support of a number of non-profits and progressive causes throughout the country. Jason received his bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian University in 2002 with a major in Human Communications.
