NDVR Panel Discussion

Join us for an interactive panelist discussion on voting accessibility and rights! We will have Janine Bertram who will be discussing REVUP (Register, Educate, Vote – Use Your Power) and resources available through the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), Senator Andy Billig who will be discussing voter access, and Lucy Barefoot with the Secretary of States office who will provide us with an overview of the voter guide. Questions from the audience will be accepted.

Central WA Disability Resources, in conjunction with the National Disability Voter Registration Week, will be demonstrating the Accessible Voting Unit and registering people to vote at the Ellensburg Public Library (209 N. NDVR Week Guest Speaker: Janine Bertram

Join the Spokane Public Library at the Downtown Lens stage for guest speaker Janine Bertram, President of the Disability Rights Center! This week is National Disability Voter Registration Week and we want to make the disability vote count. Summary of presentation – ‘Discussing the importance of the disability vote and local and state organizing. Janine Bertram is a writer and communications consultant. She has been working for disability rights since 1985. She has written numerous articles for disability publications as well as reports for corporations and federal and state agencies. She developed trainings in marketing for non-profits. Janine is on the National Advisory Board for REVUP and the National ADAPT media team.
