Paralyzed Veterans of America: Helps disabled veterans obtain medical help, access jobs and live active lives, and advocates for veterans’ rights.

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America: Provides support to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans in the areas of health, education, employment and community building, and lobbies for veterans’ rights and care.

Blinded Veterans Association: An organization of blinded veterans helping blinded veterans through service programs, regional groups, resources and advocacy.

USO Wounded Warriors: Provides a variety of programs and services to support the morale, welfare, social and entertainment needs of troops and their families.

Hire Heroes: Provides transition assistance, job search assistance and job placement services to veterans.

Disabled American Veterans: Helps disabled veterans access benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs, and provides additional assistance with home loans, scholarships and rides to VA hospitals.

United Spinal Association VetsFirst Service: Assists veterans with making benefits claims and advocates for veterans’ rights.

National Organization on Disability (NOD) Wounded Warriors: Works with the U.S. Army to increase employment opportunities for wounded veterans.

Homes for our Troops: Builds accessible homes at no cost for severely injured veterans.

Job Opportunities for Disabled Vets: A searchable database of job opportunities for disabled veterans.

Disabled Veterans National Foundation: Provides direct services and grants to individuals and organizations to aid veterans and their families with employment, mental health, healthcare costs and more.

Characters Unite: Disabled Vets: USA Networks’ campaign to fight intolerance and raise awareness of the challenges faced by millions of disabled veterans. Also includes resources for disabled veterans.

The White House: Provides information on what the administration is doing on disability issues.

Disability.gov: The main government website that provides information, resources, and links regarding disability.

US Department of Veterans Affairs: Provides information on disability compensation offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Social Security Administration: Provides information on the SSA's Wounded Warrior program and how to apply for benefits.

Department of Labor: Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP): Provides information on ODEP's activities to increase access to jobs for people with disabilities.

Department of Transportation Access to Transport Page: Provides information on access to transportation for people with disabilities, including resources and laws.

National Council on Disability: The NCD is an independent Federal Agency responsible for advising the President and lawmakers on issues pertaining to disability, including policy on education, transportation, technology and healthcare.

GovBenefits: Online tool to help individuals determine their qualification for government benefits.

National Resource Directory: Provides access to services and resources at the national, state and local levels that support recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration.

Warrior Care: A Department of Defense blog that provides resources and support for wounded veterans to receive care and transition assistance.

Army Wounded Warrior: The US Army's program to assist and advocate for wounded veterans.
