National Disability Voter Registration Week Kick-off Event
July 9, 2019 | 6:00 – 6:30 PM | Griffith-Calumet Township Branch Library, Griffith, IN

Rise NWI & the League of Women Voters will be here for a brief information session on registering to vote, options on submitting votes, ADA adaptations and what to expect at your polling place. Please bring your State-issued ID or last four number of Social Security to complete registration application. We may be able to register you online immediately or give you the paper application form. YOUR voice matters, YOUR vote matters! This part of the session is open to those who did not register for the All Ability program. It is open to all, those with or without disabilities. There will be a NDVRW display at the library with educational materials and registration forms throughout the month of July.

Self-Advocates of Indiana Annual Picnic
July 20, 2018 | Plainfield, IN

Indiana Disability Rights will be at the Self-Advocates Picnic offering voter registration, an “I Vote Becuase…” photo booth, and voter education materials. We have teamed up with a local county clerk’s office who will bring polling equipment for attendees to practice voting. The picnic will be held at the Hummel Park, Charleston Pavilion (5373 S. County Road 700 East Plainfield, IN 46168).
