National Disability Voter Registration Week
July 16-19, 2017 | Leon County, FL

The Leon County (Florida) Supervisor of Elections and the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library are presenting, in partnership, a week-long voter education and registration drive for National Disability Voter Registration Week 2017. Voter registration will be offered at the following locations and times:

 

July 16-17 | 3pm-6pm
  • Collins Main Library (200 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida 32301)
    *In addition to voter registration there will also be a voting machine demonstration

 

July 18 | 12pm-3pm

Celebrate National Disability Voter Registration Week at the NJ State House
July 18, 2017 | 12pm-2pm | Trenton, NJ

On July 18th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, REV UP NJ and the Alliance Center for Independence, will be celebrating National Disability Voter Registration Week by hosting an event at the NJ State House (125 West State Street Trenton, NJ, 08608). This event is part of REV UP’s on going efforts to participation from the disability community in the elections process.The day will include live entertainment, voter registration, prominent speakers, resource tables and giveaways. This year’s gubernatorial election is an important one for New Jersey’s voters with disabilities. Come out, have a good time, and let your voice be heard…your vote counts!

 

What’s Your Advocacy? Training Families and Self Advocates to Participate in Our Democracy

The second installment of this FREE conference series for families and self-advocates will focus on voting and fully participating in our democracy.
