Grants Manager

Sandra Young (she/her) is the Grants Manager for the American Association of People with Disabilities. In this new role, she is responsible for administering the full life cycle of all AAPD grant funding. Sandra is a staunch advocate of disability rights and the disabled community. She has over two decades of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector with expertise spanning program management, development, and fundraising. Sandra holds a PhD in Human Services, with a specialization in Nonprofit Management & Leadership. Outside of work, Sandra is an avid animal lover and devoted cat parent to Braxton. She enjoys live music, travel, spending quality time with family and friends, and her guilty pleasure is binge-watching true crime stories, murder mysteries, and reality television.
