Keep Food on the Table for Millions of Americans with Disabilities
June 25, 2018
The Senate is expected to vote on the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (S.3042) this week, most likely on Thursday, June 28. The Senate version of this bill, also known as the Farm Bill, protects the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit levels and eligibility. SNAP helps millions of people with disabilities afford a nutritionally adequate diet.
